Easter Week Schedule

The following are an outline of the events of Easter Week, April 9 - 16
11:00 AM Palm Sunday, April 9th
We start our Easter week with a special service remembering Jesus as he entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.  The Shepherd's Lambs will be singing a few Easter songs we will have plenty oif music.  Our preaching theme for the service will be worship, as one of the Disciplines of the faith.  Following the service we will have a church dinner.
7:00 PM, Tuesday, April 11th
During our regular Bible Study time, we will show the "Jesus" movie on the screen in the sanctuary.  This movie is an excellent portrayal of the life of Jesus and the event would be a good occasion to invite a friend.
Noon - 3:00 PM Good Friday Service
This service is at Fairview Gospel Church and includes Pastors from a number of churches, including Pastor Rick will preach on the theme of the cross.  Fairview Gospel is at 724 Fairview Ave. in Fairview, NJ.
7:30 PM Good Friday Service
Our own service includes participation from our

Korean sister church, who worship in our building.  This service looks at the cross and remembers what Jesus has done for us.  We will have Dr. Bruce Terpstra bring the message and we will also celebrate the Lord's supper together.
6:30 AM  Sunrise Service, April 11th
This service remembers the wonder of the women and disciples who discovered an empty tomb, early in the morning.  We plan to meet outside at the park across the street, weather permitting.  Dr. Lim from Cornerstone Alliance will share a brief message.  Breakfast will follow.
11:00 AM Easter Worship Service
Our main Easter service will include joyous music, testimonies and a celebration of the birth of Jesus.  Plan to come early and join us for the most important worship service of the year.  This also a great opportunity to invite a friend to join you in church.

"Faith & Reason" Television Program

"Faith and Reason" is the name of a program on cable TV featuring Pastor Rick, Pastor Peter Ahn of Metro Community Church and Pastor Dominick Apollo of First Reformed Church, and hosted by John Pluchino.  The purpose of the program is to address issues of our culture in a way that gives a reasonable response that is faithful to God's Word.  We are currently looking at various ways to add to the program as we have expanded to three churches.
The 30 minute talk show format is aired on Time Warner Cable at 8:30 PM Mondays on channel 81 or 98.  The program also is aired on Cable Vision in Hudson County on Mondays at 7:30 PM and on Cable Vision in Jersey City on Sundays at 1:30 PM. 

We are on Oakland Cable Vision on Saturday evenings at 9:30 PM, which is a new time for this system.  In addition, there are programs available at our web site: www.fortleegospel.org . 
"Faith & Reason" has produced about 90 programs in the past three years.  We are currently seeking to make some changes to the opening of the program and develop the program's own web site with links from the three churches.  Please keep this program in your prayers, that God will use this ministry to communicate biblical truth in the public square.
