The Health Committee has been meeting and working on articulating our church's Core Values, Mission, Vision and Strategy. To date we have prepared the following Core Values which we believe accurately describe who we are as a church. This is still in a draft form and we welcome your feedback on the following Core Values. An added note is that the first Core Value also doubles as a 'Mission Statement.' 1. Fort Lee Gospel Church exists to build and inspire the faith of believers and invite non-believers to faith in Jesus Christ. (Matt 28:18-20) 2. Fort Lee Gospel Church believes that an abundant life includes a relationship with Jesus Christ which is enhanced by a) weekly participation in collective worship,

b) involvement in a small group Bible study, c) daily time for personal prayer and Bible study, and d) finding a place to serve. (John 10:10) 3. Fort Lee Gospel Church encourages the full participation of diverse people from many cultural backgrounds, various walks of life and different places in their journey of faith. (Gal 3:26-29) 4. Fort Lee Gospel Church believes that faith in Jesus Christ and participation in church life makes families stronger and contributes to raising children to be godly and successful adults. (Mal 4:6) 5. Fort Lee Gospel Church is an evangelical church which believes in the inspiration of the Bible as the authority for faith and practice. (II Tim 3:16)
