Billy Graham Event: June 24 - 26

Rev. Billy Graham is one of the best known evangelists in the history of the church.  He has been an advisor to the US presidents of the second half of the twentieth century.  He has preached to millions around the world over the past 60 years.  His ministry has slowed in recent years due to health concerns, but he is planning to preach in New York City for possibly the last Crusade of his life.
The crusade will take place at Flushing Meadows Park in Queens, near the sight of the World's Fair and Shea stadium.  The first event will be on Friday, June 24th at 7:30 PM.  Like most Billy Graham events this evening will feature a choir, singers, George Beverly Shea and Steven Curtis Chapman, testimonies and a sermon by Billy Graham.

The second service will be the Youth Night on Saturday, June 25 at 6:00 PM.  This Concert of Hope will feature music by Tree 63, Jars of Clay, and Nicole C. Mullen, and again the 86 year old evangelist will preach.
The closing service will be on Sunday, June 26th from 3:30 - 6:00 PM.  Musicians will include, MercyMe, Michael W. Smith, and the Gaither Vocal Band.  This event will likely be the largest with expectations of a crowd of 200,000 people.
Pray for this ministry and plan to attend each of these special events to be a part of this historic weekend.
