YARD SALE: 6/17 SERMON SERIES

We are preparing for our annual Spring Yard Sale at Fort Lee Gospel Church which will take place on Saturday, June 17th. We welcome the church to join us on this day to sell unused items in the closet or just drop in for a visit.
There are three purposes for this Yard Sale. First, it is a day of fellowship for those who sell their wares and getting to know one another better. Second, we meet the community who drop in looking for bargains. We have had some visitors attend Sunday services who we met through the Yard Sale. A third benefit is that the church makes a few dollars from the yard sale.

On the first two Sundays of June, Pastor Rick will finish the short series responding to the challenges arising from the Da Vinci Code book and movie. The booklet, "Da Vinci Decoded" written in Feb. 2004, has been update and is available this month.
Starting on June 18th, Pastor Rick will begin a summer service on "Life Together: Living in Christian Community." The series will look at the "one anothers" in the New Testament and how they apply to our context in the 21st Century.
This is an important series of messages because often the church's message is only heard after the church demonstrates Christ's love in community. Satan is busy disrupting Christian community and encouraging division between believers. Plan to join us for these messages.
