Text Box: Operation Christmas Child Text Box: Five Core Values of Fort Lee Gospel Church Text Box: Operation Christmas Child is a program that fills shoe boxes with school supplies, new small toys, and toiletries, to be sent to children in poor and war-torn nations of the world. Our church has participated in this program for a number of years. Shoe boxes will be collected during the fall to be shipped out in time for Christmas, with a deadline of Sunday, November 22nd. We believe this is an excellent family project to teach our children about world poverty and the abundance that we have been entrusted with. Some families choose to put together shoe boxes that would be for children of a similar age to their own Text Box: children and others have even put together five or more boxes. Others have promoted this project on their job and had boxes prepared by those not a part of the church. For details on packing the boxes, brochures are available or you can speak with Laurie, who is happy for financial contribution. The program is the project of a few churches to communicate the relevancy of faith in the 21st Century. Participating church include First Reformed Church, Metro Community Church, First Baptist Church of Cliffside Park and Fort Lee Gospel Church. Faith & Reason continues to be aired on Time Warner Cable of Palisades Park Text Box: (channel 81 or 98) on Mondays at 8:30 PM and on Oakland Cable Vision on Sundays at 7:30 PM. Please continue to pray for the ministry of “Faith & Reason,” as God opens up new avenues of exposure for this ministry. There is significant potential to communicate God’s Word beyond our church walls. A number of people have come to know about our church through this ministry.
